No matter which sport you practice, Brewton has a park for you! From well-lit walking and skateboarding at the gorgeously manicured Jennings Park along Burnt Corn Creek to the “wild side” at E.O. Wilson Nature Adventure—we’ve got it covered. There are multi-purpose shady trails for runners, walkers, bikers and equestrians and a brand new equestrian arena. We have kayak/canoe rentals at O’Bannon Park just down the road from Gordy Dog Park. Kids love the challenging playground, splash pad and BMA arcade at Dogwood Hills. Summer programming is top rate at the John L. Fisher Center, and you will love the ballgames and fun at Sportsman Park and Alco Park. There are ideal places to sit and watch nature or trainspot at City Park and Mildred Street Park—or you might want to take in the farmers’ market or a nighttime concert at Market Park. If you are planning a birthday party, these parks might be just the right setting. Come visit!
